What We Collect

• Account information including name, email, password stored encrypted, role selection, and subscription plan.
• Athlete profiles including first name, age, sport selection, and session history.
• Payment information processed securely by Stripe — we never store your credit card number.
• Video content you upload for analysis.
• Basic device and usage information automatically collected to improve the app.

We do NOT collect Social Security numbers, health records, GPS location, or phone contacts.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service, create and manage your account, store athlete profiles, process video uploads, generate AI coaching feedback, display progress tracking, and process payments.
• To communicate with you about account confirmations, session completions, billing receipts, and support requests.
• To improve SportBuilder by analyzing usage patterns and fixing bugs.

We will NEVER sell your information to advertisers, build advertising profiles, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Special Protections for Children Under 13 — COPPA Compliance

SportBuilder may be used by children under 13 through accounts created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. When a parent adds an athlete profile for a child under 13 we require explicit acknowledgment that the account holder is the parent or legal guardian providing consent. For children under 13 we collect only first name, age, sport selection, videos submitted by the parent, and AI-generated coaching results. We do not collect email addresses or contact information directly from children. Parents have the right to review all information collected about their child, request correction of inaccurate information, and request complete deletion of their child's data at any time by emailing privacy@sportbuilder.ai with subject line COPPA Request. We respond to all COPPA requests within 10 business days.

How We Store and Protect Your Data

All account data and athlete profiles are stored securely in Supabase with enterprise-grade security in the United States. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Database access is protected by Row Level Security meaning each user can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption — we cannot see your password. We conduct regular security reviews.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription your data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time by emailing privacy@sportbuilder.ai.

Your Rights

• You have the right to access a copy of all personal information we hold about you.
• Correct or update your information at any time from within app settings.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data within 30 days.
• Request your data in a portable format.
• Opt out of non-essential emails at any time.

Changes to This Policy

We will notify all registered users by email at least 14 days before any significant changes to this policy take effect.
